Responsible for administering payroll, benefits, and 401k for over 400 nationwide union and non-union employees. When I started in 2017, there were approximately 250 employees. After a merger and an acquisition in 2018, that number increased to over 400. Twice since joining the company, I seamlessly moved the new companies into ADP to begin their payroll processing. Through that transition, I assisted in moving their 401k plan and benefits to ours.

Responsible for administering and maintaining records for payroll, benefits, human resources, 401k and worker’s compensation for the organization of approximately 175 employees. This includes multiples states, Canada, union, and non-union employees. In 2016, I saved the company nearly 30% per year on payroll processing costs by migrating our 3rd party payroll vendor from a local company to ADP. I also assisted with a 401k provider change.

Responsible for fulfilling a broad range of Payroll/HR functions including but not limited to: employee relations, pre-employment screening, orientation, benefits administration, progressive discipline, multi-state payroll processing, calculating bi-weekly sales commissions, and management of employee records for nearly 400 employees. Responsible for resolving conflicts between employees and management as well as performing exit interviews. Position routinely required working with senior management to help create and/or update HR policies and procedures.

Responsible for the A/P for four NW locations. Processed weekly payment runs and made month-end list of outstanding invoices for accrual purposes. Assisted with A/R and made collections calls on occasion.
