From QA to Performance Prowess: My Journey in Scaling and TrustMy career started in Content QA, but destiny (and sudden resignations!) had other plans. In 2005, I stepped into the world of performance engineering, entrusted by my QA Director to fill the critical gap of our two departing experts. It was a bold move, with just a week for knowledge transfer. But hey, challenges ignite me!I took on the mantle of building performance testing from scratch. Over the next decade at Cengage Gale, I became the architect of their performance testing ecosystem. I implemented lean and efficient processes, using right-sized load and robust application monitoring.It wasn't just about tools and numbers; my biggest achievement was building trust. Performance engineering, once an afterthought, became an integral part of every product journey at Cengage. Today, not a single line of code touches production without passing my stress tests!My impact wasn't limited to Cengage. At QA InfoTech, I played a pivotal role in strengthening their relationship with Cengage. I built a seamless onsite-offshore delivery center, turning Cengage into their first (and still one of their top 10!) clients.
