I have been working in the financial (including cash management) and insurance sectors. I have had exposure to the banking industry. I am driven to achieve excellence. I don't back down from a challenge, and am keen to obtain new skills as and when required.As a senior database developer, I manage a team of database developers and data analysts. I interface with a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from senior level executives to developers, as well as external stakeholders. I aim to ensure the long term reliability, scalability and maintainability of systems. As a database developer, I analyse and understand the requirements of the desired output of each project, whereby I design, develop and implement the database changes and or enhancements. I am also responsible for a team of other database developers and data analysts, so reviewing each others work is daily routine to ensure quality and fit-for-purpose output is achieved. As a data analyst, I have analysed data (facts and statistics collected together) and report the information (facts provided/learned about something) obtained. Furthermore, I delved into this information to obtain knowledge (awareness / familiarity gained by experience of a fact / situation), which have been used to make informed business decisions and forecasts.I have good verbal and written communication skills. I confidently interact with stakeholders, whether internal or external. I am very organised and aim to do things correctly the first time around. I am currently working on multiple projects, so I definitely know how multitask in a ordered and effective manner. I work well under pressure and know how to prioritise tasks.
