At the end of the first year in Engineering school, they asked for your preferred discipline. "Civil, you should do civil", my parents said. As a young adult, I wasn't sure the path I wanted to take. Although I might have stumbled into the field of Civil Engineering, transport has developed to be my passion. I started out my career in the Emerging Professionals Programme with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, where I had the opportunity to experience what it's like to be on one of the largest infrastructure project in Auckland, Northern Corridor Improvements (NCI). I also had a taste of what it's like to help frame the benefits and outcomes for NZ Upgrade Programme with 20 projects across New Zealand.With the focus on Project Management, I joined Jacobs in 2021 to hone my skills and learn from a wide varieties of projects the company has to offer.I have recently joined Auckland Transport’s Network Management team as Transportation Engineer. With this role I’m eager to help shape safety facilities in the Auckland region.
