• At Bio-Technical Resources (BTR), we provide contract R&D services to develops new microbial strains, fermentation and downstream processing technologies. BTR has been in business for over 55 years. • Our microbiologists and molecular biologists have worked with a large spectrum of microorganisms. To strain development, we apply both advanced recombinant technologies as well as classic mutagenesis, screening and selection. BTR offer several platform microbial host systems for protein expression and production, including E. coli, Bacillus, Saccharomyces, Pichia and Trichoderma.• BTR operates fermentation and downstream processing at 1-, 14-, 60-, and 250-liter scales. We offer services of process development, scale-up, sample material production and technology transfer to commercial production facilities.
