At Cretex, my primary project involves determining the root causes of inventory discrepancies throughout Cretex Medical. This project utilizes lean practitioner tools and methods such as Process Flow Diagrams, Spaghetti Maps, Swim Lane Diagrams, Root Cause Analysis, and Gemba Walks. In addition, I have become very familiar with the ERP system, IQMS, and have performed transaction analysis, documentation analysis, and improvements, as well as coordination and scheduling between various departments.Midway through my co-op, I presented my findings to higher management, and at the end of my co-op, I plan to present my findings and the results of implementing solutions to higher management.In parallel with my main project, I am on track to complete my Lean Practitioner certification.
