• Manage and operate Linux servers in E2open’s production environment, in support of E2open’s 24x7x365 high availability service level commitment to customers• Manage Symantec’s Veritas cluster services/Red Hat Cluster services for supporting Database High availability operations• Manage high end Netapp storage clusters and ensure 100% availability• Manage virtual environments based on VMware’s ESX• Develop automation using perl/python/shell scripts for storage, archiving, and backup, as well as general Linux system administration processes• Manage Linux OS upgrade and patching requirements• Work with system hardware vendors for ongoing support issues, release schedules, fix packs and general system administration issues.• Support E2open development and professional services teams in system environments designed for product development, solution configuration, customer user acceptance testing, and QA testing• Work with development teams to define, architect and deploy Linux-based tools to support development, QA, UAT, and professional services team’s requirements.• Manage archiving and backup technologies to efficiently support E2Open’s data retention requirements.• Develop best practices and operating procedures to support sustained operational efficiency.• Perform on-call duty and rotation into the Operations team.
