Hilton Abbey is a small-to-medium sized building company based in Greenwich; they provide a comprehensive building maintenance and refurbishment service for clients which are predominantly local authorities, public bodies, housing associations, government bodies and educational establishments.Responsibilities:-Identify opportunities on PQQ and tender portals.-Bid writing.- Format and produce tender documents to a high, professional standard, providing editorial and graphic design input.- Co-ordinate bid pipeline, prioritise requests and opportunities in line with business plans- Be the pivotal link between the technical team, sub-contractors and project directors for bid activity.- Monitor, assess and update bid plans to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met. - Redefine Hilton Abbey’s existing brand.- Formulate overall strategy for strong brand identification.- Manage and produce marketing and other promotional material.- Rewrite and redesign current website

I supported the marketing team by designing and laying out corporate brochures, newsletters, case studies, exhibition banners and other marketing collateral. I contributed to the businesses' new web pages by writing and updating content.I also supported the business development team with presentations, organisation charts and developing bid document templates in Word and InDesign. I worked in a division with three separate and distinct businesses: Social Housing, Built Environment and Projects Businesses. Working within corporate branding guidelines I have also helped to develop the brands for the three businesses.

PR Liaise with external agencies to deliver the company’s communication strategy including public relations and the production of company newsletters; update the corporate website.Market Research Arrange and administer market research, organise and administer customer surveys.EventsOrganise and administer corporate events both internal and external eg the annual client corporate reception, company Christmas party, staff days eg dragon boat racing, it's a knockout; source branded merchandise appropriate for clients and tenants.Bid design Develop the presentation and prepare pre-qualification, tender, method statements and business proposals for submission.Presentations and marketing collateral Support the sales and bids teams by providing bespoke powerpoint presentations and printed collateral for client meetings; design, develop and produce powerpoint presentations for use at conferences and exhibitions; design corporate marketing publications including brochures, event fliers, invitations, and exhibition banners; administer a corporate topics and photograph library for use in publications and tenders.Branding Manage and monitor brand consistency across all divisions.CharityPulled together a Charity Committee to raise funds for the company's nominated charity - Demelza - including a summer fair.
