An accomplished R&D leader/executive with 40 years of experience and successful track records in nitinol industry and cardiovascular/structural heart medical device development. In my early career at Memry Corporation, I played a critical role in helping the company transition from a nitinol actuator business into a successful medical device component supplier. During my 17 years at Edwards Lifesciences as (Senior) Vice President Engineering, I developed and led teams of excellence in metallic implant design, processing and testing, computational simulations, cardiovascular wetlab clinical simulation, usability assessment, packaging design and testing, digital engineering of Computer Aided Design and Product Lifecycle Management that supported companywide product innovations. My passion is to continue leveraging my experience and contributing value to medical device innovation.
