He started to practise in Shanghai since 1999 and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2012. In May of 2023, Mr. Wu was admitted as a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). In July of 2023, Mr. Wu was appointed as a Judge of the Independent Employment Tribunal of the inter-governmental organization Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO).Mr. Wu is currently a Senior Partner in Dacheng’s Shanghai office, serving as one of the leaders of Dacheng's international dispute resolution practice and the leader of Dacheng Shanghai Cross-border Arbitration Practice Study Center (“CAPS”). Mr. Wu is currently an Arbitrator of the Nanjing Arbitration Commission.Mr. Wu has extensive experience in international arbitration representing clients before various institutions (including LCIA, ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, CIETAC and the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS)). Mr. Wu’s extensive experience in this field mainly focus on power plants, mining, infrastructure, port, equipment manufacturing, tobacco, textiles, hotels, planting and online games. The destinations of the investment he represents include the UK, Germany, Russia, Romania, Montenegro, Australia, Mexico, Chile, Japan, Singapore, HK, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Thailand, South Africa and Ethiopia.Mr. Wu has profound experience in anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and data and privacy protection for many years. Over the years, Mr. Wu has focused on legal services in new economy such as online video games, E-sports, social media and AI.
