 Collaborated with Darnell lab at Rockefeller University and performed HITS-CLIP next-generation sequencing to understand RNA targets of a RNA binding protein AUF1. Utilized CRISPR technology to genetically modify muscle stem cells. Developed RNAi screening assay to elucidate epigenetic regulation in myopathy. Established a novel mouse model to study Type I Diabetes. Developed Matlab program to analyze pancreatic islet immunofluorescence images. Isolate immune cells from pancreas and studied immune infiltration in pancreas by FACS analysis.  Used ELISA assay to test insulin secretion in diabetic mice. Co-cultured islets and T cells to study T-cell activation and T-cell-mediated islets disruption.  Perform RNA-seq analysis on isolated islets and T cells.
