All things being constant, relocated to Hong Kong to penetrate the investment community here and seize on the opportunities that the business has to offer.

Working out of the Singapore office, I head GfK Equity Research sales effort in Asia (incl JPN). Besides being in charge of servicing the Institutional Investors in this region covering the consumer technology space, I am responsible for the clientele base and its business development. Given the huge exposure to the buy-side community, majority of my clients are portfolio managers and analysts working in HFs and long-only funds. On top of this, maintained constant interaction with industry contacts on a Senior Management level consisting of retailers, manufacturers, operators, etc based in Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan. In a nutshell, I also play a role in providing corporate access for my analysts. Over time, I have built extensive contacts in both the investment community and industry scenes. Among other things, daily routine consist of conveying analysts’ work and research by actively organizing meetings and telephone briefings with clients and prospects.
