Helped build out a system that collected and processed invoices and payments forcustomers, including monthly recurring payments, usage based payments, and one-time payments, as well as internal tools for Customer Experience agents to track payments and invoices.

Worked as an engineer in the Payment Compliance team. Facebook has a multitude of products (e.g. Instagram Shopping, Marketplace, Ads, Messenger payments, WhatsApp payments, Oculus, Portal, etc.) that utilize payments. Our Payment Compliance team attempts to integrate all current and future products into one proprietary software system for payments screening. Our day-to-day sees work in both front-end and back-end.Also worked as an engineer in the Financial Products team. We build and maintained products that helped Meta's financial and accounting departments. Some of our products included Period Close Calendar (used monthly and quarterly to aggregate Meta's financial data) and Journal Entry Automation (used in by accounting to keep track of and balance various business transactions)

Worked on extending the existing application server with new microservices, did extensive object modeling for database. Lead in creating a brand new client UI written in React/Redux and integrating it with the server. Deployment and testing of the entire stack. Worked under lead engineer and product manager in Agile development, with daily stand-ups and weekly check-ins
