Developing NIR Process Analytical Technology (PAT) capability for Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose (ORC), N2O4 production at the Athens, GA site.

• Developed a laser based Polarized Imaging Nephelometer (PI-Neph) for aerosol scattering phase function measurement.• First to adopted High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging technique using OpenCV for PI-Neph image data.• Utilized Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) to study organic aerosol’s photolysis weight loss kinetic.• Studied biomass burning aerosols under different burning condition (G-WISE Campaign), SRFA/SRHA photol-ysis with offline ESI-FT-ICR Mass Spectrometry Analysis, UV-Vis• Implemented Labview/Arduino Code to interface and control lab-made instruments.• Applied machine learning method (CNN, XgBoost) to classify combustion relative Vacuum-UV (VUV) spectra.•Pre-trained model on large public minerals Raman Dataset (RRUFF) and transfer model to collaborators’smaller experimental dataset.
