Xu Ming, born in China, is a graduate from Penninghen Graphic Arts and Interior Architecture High School, Paris, France. He has worked with world -famous designers as Didier Gomez, Eric Raffy and Paul Andreu/ADPi. Ming returned to China in 2004 to serve an international architecture design practice. In 2006, he founded with her partner, Virginie Moriette in Shanghai, the studio MVW, working on a variety of projects for clients in China and abroad unanimously interested for their pioneering spirit and their inexhaustible enthusiasm for creativity. He is actually recognized as a figure in Chinese Design landscape.Since its founding, the innovative and multidisciplinary studio specialized in architecture, art, interior and furniture designs for exclusive projects now in Asia and Europe, has won numerous awards including AD Top 100 Design Talent in China (2015 and 2013); Wallpaper* Design Award for Yang Furniture (2014); Elle Decoration International Design Awards for Ping Furniture (2013); the Grand Prize from the Roche Bobois international design competition (2010) ; Rado Young Design Prize (2009); Elle Decoration International Design Awards China Young Talent of the Year (2008); British Council Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (2007) and Elle Decoration International Design Awards China Best Furniture Design (2006). Studio MVW has been extensively covered in local and international medias and been exhibited in Paris, Amsterdam, Beijing, Chicago, London, Milan or Shanghai.
