Collaborated to develop the Conjure circumvention system that places circumvention proxies at internet service providers.Developed a covert and secure registrar tunneled over DNS in Go to exchange registration data for establishing connections. Reduced latency of the registration process by over 80%. Built a new type of UDP transport that tunnels proxying traffic over the DTLS protocol mimicking WebRTC traffic. Refactored the ZeroMQ-based distributed registration system and REST API to improve their maintainability.

Cooperated to build a web application for annotation on 13 different types of NLP datasets including text chunking, name entity recognition, etc. using Flask, React, and SQLite. Implemented a REST API using Flask and a client application in React. Created a flexible annotation interface where the researchers can assign and upload tasks with their own specified components (e.g. text inputs, labels) in a standard JSON format. Designed a multi-task active learning system to suggest a potential annotation for the researchers using data from different task tabs.
