I taught Foundations of Technology and Advance Design Applications classes following the EbD STEM curriculum.

I was a long term substitute at Winters Mill High School teaching Foundations of Technology.

I substitute at various schools in Howard County. I have done three long term substitute positions. I taught sections of Biology GT, Regular, and Mastery at Reservoir High School as a long term substitute from April 2014 to June 2014 where, in addition to completing the rest of the curriculum, I helped students prepare to take the Biology HSA in May 2014. From September 2014 to December 2014, I was a long term substitute for ESOL U.S. History at Reservoir High School while also acting as a paraeducator for the ESOL students in Earth and Space Science classes. From December 2014 to February 2015, I taught 6th grade Earth and Space Science at Wilde Lake Middle School.

I observe weekly teaching Physics GT, AP Mechanics, and AP Electricity and Magnetism to gain insight into dealing with students and teaching the material. I assist students with coursework by explaining the concepts or problem solving process. I gain a different perspective of teaching and observed various methods of teaching and assessments through observations and questioning reasons behind activities.

I tutored in one-on-one and group sessions for Physics at the Academic Link on the Greenspring Campus of Stevenson University. I helped students learn the content material as well as study strategies and critical thinking skills in order to help those students succeed. The Academic Link is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association.

In this position students support the scheduled activities of the Van Munching Hall Technology Classrooms, Conference Rooms and Computer labs. Audio Visual Student Techs support the use of a variety technologies including A/V systems, Computing, and digital imaging as well as take direction from Full time Audio Visual Personnel. Student technicians also provide frontline technical troubleshooting support for the Audio Visual team as well as to the Smith IT Help Desk. The student technicians assist in maintenance of the Audio Visual facilities. All AV Student techs are supervised by a fulltime technician.

I help out in physics discussions as well as hold office hours for PHYS121. I act as another resource for the students in addition to the TA

Duties in this position consisted primarily of calibrating sensors and dew point monitors using the procedures set up in the lab.
