• Performed new and recurring collateral audits for various companies for lines of credit up to $25 million.• Communicate extensively with loan officers and underwriters regarding audit findings.• Evaluated and reviewed items reported on borrowing base reports.• Perform the field audits of the most complex secured lending clients and assists with the coordination of major secured lending accounts and/or new prospects where the initial collateral evaluations are critical. • Manage, train and acclimate new department personnel to our audit procedures through on-the-job training, and evaluate examiner’s progress during the annual performance procedures. • Review field exam work-papers and reports for accuracy in both scope and content.• Complete field exam reports subsequent to completion of field exam.• Communicate findings to the Account Executive which included analytics, exceptions and recommendations for the client. • Performed new and recurring collateral audits for 25-30 companies in a given year primarily in the consumer industrial products industry• Reviewed account reconciliations, sales journals, cash receipt journals, bank statements, journal entries, general ledgers, financial statements, A/R and A/P agings, payroll registers (ADP, Paychex, Paycor) in addition to other documents needed to complete the field exam.• Performed field exam tests such as inventory cost test and test count, contract testing, recurring monthly revenue testing and property performance report testing.• Document processes and procedures for various business cycles.
