Minh Diem Vu, Ph.D. is a highly engaged and passionate scientist with broad range R&D experience in small biotechnologies and pharmaceutical industry, committed to find better therapies for patients with unmet medical needs. In 2013, she co-founded EngMab AG, a Swiss start-up biotechnology company focused on cancer immunotherapy (T cell bispecific antibodies). As the preclinical research expert, member of the core operational team and board of directors of EngMab, she was centrally involved in activities related to science, R&D and operation leading to the sale of EngMab in 2016. As a trained biologist and immunologist, Dr. Vu holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Université de Montréal (Quebec, Canada) and completed a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship in Transplant Immunology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center affiliated to Harvard University (Boston, MA, USA). Before co-founding EngMab, Dr. Vu worked at Roche where she gained relevant expertise in drug R&D. She first joined the Inflammation Discovery group at Roche Palo Alto, LLC (CA, USA) and further expanded her experience at Hoffman-La Roche (Nutley, NJ, USA).  As a research Laboratory Head with managerial role, she led early-stage portfolio projects and was heavily involved in the development of antibody-based therapies and small molecule immunomodulatory drug candidates. Dr. Vu has authored more than 35 publications including scientific papers in high impact peer-reviewed journals, granted patents and patent applications.
