I'm a PR professional passionate about elevating organizations that make a difference. For more than a decade, I've worked exclusively with nonprofits to increase their media coverage, thought leadership, and ultimately their impact across a wide array of issue areas, including criminal justice reform, LGBTQ+ rights, education, immigration, and mental health.I specialize in taking dry, wonky, and often long-winded reports or topics and translating them for a general audience — cutting to the "why this matters" in a way that's accessible and can be more easily leveraged by the decision makers we're trying to reach. I also make it a priority in my pitching to look beyond an organization's top leadership to ensure we're amplifying and providing space for the communities most impacted by our work.I'm a firm believer that any company bold enough to ask for donations and support must also be living out their mission within their own offices, both in terms of diversity/inclusion and pay equity, as well as creating a safe workplace culture that values people at all levels of the organization.I'm a wife, dog mom, and reluctant NJ suburbanite — all new chapters in my life that started during the pandemic. In my down time, I enjoy hiking, experimenting with new dinner recipes, and playing intramural flag football.
