As an Senior cybersecurity Associate at coforge, a global IT company, I protect our environment from cyber threats by monitoring and analyzing security events. I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, which gives me a strong technical foundation and a passion for cybersecurity.In my role, I collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and resolve incidents using various security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. I have successfully detected, analyzed, and responded to multiple security incidents, ensuring timely and efficient resolution. I also create and maintain security documentation and provide security awareness training to employees. Additionally, I communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and application developers, to ensure security best practices and compliance. Outside of work, I stay updated on the latest security trends and developments by attending industry conferences and participating in online communities.
