CurrentJob Responsibilities:► Local and International; Sourcing for the correct material for Client requirement.►Collecting more than one prices to compare and for better reliability.►Achieve best price per unit on goods and services using strategic partnerships, negotiation skills and persuasion.►Identify opportunities to test market for pricing and product substitutions to achieve cost savings while still meeting product specifications.►Ensure all procurement activities… Show more Job Responsibilities:► Local and International; Sourcing for the correct material for Client requirement.►Collecting more than one prices to compare and for better reliability.►Achieve best price per unit on goods and services using strategic partnerships, negotiation skills and persuasion.►Identify opportunities to test market for pricing and product substitutions to achieve cost savings while still meeting product specifications.►Ensure all procurement activities conducted within delegations of authority and that appropriate approvals have been provided prior to issuing purchase order for goods or services. ►Ensure that all goods sourced and delivered from contracted suppliers meet specifications and fixed contracted pricing. ►Assist Procurement and Supply Chain Manager by providing operational information in relation to supplier performance, quality, compliance to specifications and pricing.► Organise all Procurement activities relating to request for proposals, sealed bids and price quotes.►Preparation Quotation, Delivery Note, Packing List, Invoices to Client and Purchase Order to Supplier.►Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy; follow up on discrepancies with the initiating department/school; identify available suppliers for each requisitioned item.►Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments as requested; respond to inquiries which do not require the personal attention of the Procurement Specialist or MD►Correspond with vendors regarding prices, product availability, and delivery.►Respond to inquiries regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts and pricing information. ► Assist in answering incoming calls. ► Perform related work as required.
