The company's travel program is complex, growing exponentially which is a major cornerstone and strategic to the business. My job was to ensure the smooth transition from fragmented local supplier to one consolidated supplier with a minimum disruption as a result of that Kao China is able to enjoy a consistent supplier and service framework across the globe around travel and expense management which enabled the organisation to grow whilst ensuring maximum return on investment in travel and to streamline the processes. To quantify this a bit, between 2013 - 2014 this meant driving an total category worth $1m program by saving 10% and achieving a record internal customer satisfaction score at the same time.
