Recruitment ManagerResponsible for increasing the productivity of the recruitment team and increasing the scope of roles filled.This involved:• Introducing new candidate sourcing methods• Creating formal recruitment procedures• Liaising with the management team on business strategies• Daily involvement in operational recruitment activities. Responsible for creating the recruitment function from the ground up. This involved planning and implementing recruitment strategies for a prolonged phase of high company growth. Over an 18 month period the recruitment team sourced and hired over 1100 personnel, increasing the workforce to over 1850. Positions filled ranged from: senior executives, site based construction managers through to project managers, engineers, designers, project support disciplines including contract engineers, planners and estimators. This role had similar targets to Calibre. I joined FAST specifically to create a recruitment team to meet a large increase in project personnel over a short period of time. This involved increasing the team by 6 to 8 recruiters who hired over 800 engineers within 12 months. This covered engineers, project managers and site based supervisors from Australia and overseas.
