-Responsible for all activities of the payroll tax function for multiple divisions/FEINs in 38 states and Canada including payment and reconciliation of tax payments and reporting for federal, state, provincial, and local taxes -Lead role in implementation of SAP HCM payroll for company including creating internal processes and procedures. Involved in initial and ongoing system testing and troubleshooting.-Work directly with accounting, treasury, and accounts payable to monitor and reconcile payroll related accounts.-Register new, merge existing, and close tax accounts with various entities as needed. Monitor business activities to determine tax responsibilities.-Balance, generate, and file W4, T4 and Releve forms at year end.-Oversight of garnishment processes, balances and payments out to entities. Responsible for auditing and troubleshooting for electronic child support reporting.-Back up to payroll supervisor and additional support to payroll processing team.
