I'm an out of box thinker, with a zest for innovation and a strong advocate for critical evaluation of concepts, processes and systems. A true believer of 'out with the old' and lets try something new.Through my current work in the field of clinical exploration I have partaken in transforming the traditional foundations of clinical HIV/TB research by applying a pluripotent approach to epidemiology. In my scope as a Research Psychologist and Public Health Specialist I have overseen over 30 research projects. I have the ability to move seamlessly between a dynamic range of topics, techniques, teams and locations. Through my work, I have had the privilege of mentoring young and aspiring researchers, from a multitude of universities both in South Africa and abroad, through various aspects of clinical and socio-behavioral research. I am skilled at cross-pollination between context, disciplines, subject matters, and communities and thus harmoniously bringing together research activities. Given the very nature of the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is my belief that dynamic, innovative and flexible thinking, that crosses structured boundaries, will be the change this world needs to see.
