In the hypersonic/reentry vehicle, plasma manipulation can provide a possible solution of radio blackout problem and be used for flow control. The MHD (Magneto-HydroDynamics) is an extremely complicated simulation area but it is very important because of experiment limitations.Responsible for the research project entitled ReEntry hypersonic vehicle plasma Communication system: ReComm (May. 2006 ~ May, 2008), sponsored by the U.S. Air Force. I developed a model for ExB layer simulation for the ReComm project. The simulation code was developed to optimize the ExB layer. I demonstrated that ReComm can solve the radio blackout problem reliably and effectively.PUBLICATIONS Show less
