A structural engineer and Chartered Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia with significant major project experience in the bulk materials handling industry (Coal, Iron Ore, Bauxite, Copper and Gold). I have been involved in project teams which have delivered designs of some of Australia's largest greenfields mining developments including FMG's Solomon Crushing Hubs and Rio Tinto's Western Turner development. I am currently engaged as the Operations Manager with a specialist engineering company providing design and consultancy services to the resources industry. Working closely with the Managing Director, my role within our group involves leading both the operational functions of the company as well as the technical aspects of projects we are engaged in.
