Direct accountability of a $2 million P&L, team and for the creation of the company’s overall care transformation innovation strategy.

Reporting directly to the COO, recruited to create and lead the company’s first innovation business unit focused on improving market position at the largest pediatric healthcare system in Illinois. Developed innovation strategy informed by customer research and insights. Incubated two teams to test new ideas through all life stages of human centered design thinking. Identified opportunities to improve revenue position through partnerships and investments.

Recruited to manage all aspects of day-to-day operations for two complex service lines with a $12 million P&L. Scope included five practice sites, 16 physicians and their extended medical teams. Established strategic vision for inpatient and outpatient service areas. Directed operations including: business development, marketing strategy, key talent recruitment, programming and financial management. Coached physicians to optimize their brand.In addition, I was the project champion of the system-wide infant and child security system implementation. This project spanned four years, six-million dollars and ultimately improved safety at ten hospitals. During this tenure, I co-chaired the pediatric Culture of Inclusion and Diversity committee for three years and was recognized by the Diversity MBA Magazine as a Top 100 under 50 Diverse Emerging Leader in 2015.

Provided strategic and operational leadership for seven departments. Managed department-specific strategic planning, business development, operations, and finances, including a $4 million P&L and 54 staff. Recruited, hired and retained leadership talent to lead business units.
