I enjoy helping communities grow together at NSMS. My position encompasses program administration including planning, facilitating and coordinating community workshops as well as providing event support for graphics, promotion, advertising and sponsorship. Other responsibilities include:- Planning and executing government-funded community programs for new immigrants, volunteers and long-term residents of the North Shore- Coordinating deliveries and marketing of anti-racism & inclusion workshops for youth and adults- Assisting with event planning for North Shore Immigrants Inclusion Partnership (NSIIP) and Centre for Diversity and Innovation (CDI), both operated by NSMS- Compiling program evaluation results for reports- Interviewing, training, and supervising volunteers- Handling community outreach, including maintaining media list and newsletters to clients and volunteers and- Managing event partnership and sponsorship

Being a part of NSMS, which supports inclusive community building through various newcomer services, I worked with my passion in creating and maintaining marketing and communications materials to reach out and connect with clients and the community. - Set up online merchant system for direct sales on the website- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) of website with meta keywords and links in multiple languages- Search engine advertisement with Google and Overture MSN in multiple countries- Became familiar with Import/Export issues and distribution logistics for expanding markets overseas
