As assistant professor at the Department of Communication, I handled undergraduate courses in film studies, media and society, popular culture, and conceptualizing (creative writing and production for media). I also handled undergraduate core courses on Gender Studies. I also offered electives on Queer Cinema, Feminist Approaches to Media Text, and Organizing Genders (Organizational Communication and Social Movements).I also handled graduate level courses on Media Ethics, Media Criticism, and Feminist Media Studies. I was also responsible for supervising the thesis and portfolio projects for several of our graduate students. I was also responsible for mentoring and supervising the thesis work of graduate students doing work around issues of Media and Gender.

I helped run the common core course, Sexuality and Culture. In my capacity as research/teaching assistant, I helped revise the existing syllabus of this course to include a better focus on gender theory, as well as aspects of gender-based social advocacy work. I was also responsible for running small group tutorials for our 120 students enrolled each term.
