Over 8 years of experience researching, studying, educating, practicing, and leading care in the non-profit integrative health field. I have led and collaborated within a wellness nonprofit organization ‘Mamiwas of the Round Table’ within the field of Holistic wellness. Performing research and study on our community within the realm of wellness. Coordinating with key stakeholders and the families of our community to assist with creating a healthier tomorrow. All while, maintaining routine audits, creating/leading board meetings with team, strategic planning, problem-solving, and group supervision that support professional growth.I thrive with inspiring warm energy to support our team, especially in fast-paced situations. The skill to strategically plan with solutions through team suggestion inclusivity has developed as a former Health Educator at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York and as one of the leaders of MOTRT. As a Health Educator for 6 years, also completing healthcare assistant work within this position, strengthen connection within the community and analytics on the health issues. This experience continued to feed the passion within to assist with creating a healthier community for everyone through adequate healthcare with equitable and affordable access.As a current Contemplative Practitioner with Charlie Health for 2 years, I continue to assist clients from our community, both adolescents and young adults, who are currently healing their mental and emotional health. Through group support, integrative coaching, and educational dialogue we have fostered a space of healing in each person’s journey.As a graduate with my bachelor’s in public health and experience in healing through integrative care, I can visualize success within our healthcare field and identify highly effective strategies for achieving it. As a student within the Public Health field, I continue developing skills, such as community organizing, salesforce, disease research and intervention, data entry, and health educating.
