About Dr. Mira Brancu

I’m Dr. Mira Brancu, an advisor and coaching and consulting psychologist for leaders who want to lead well today and better navigate tomorrow. I am also an Associate Professor and expert at the intersection of organizational development, behavioral science, mental health, and gender-inclusive leadership. I bring 20+ years of experience in healthcare, academic, and other learning and innovation industries and an award-winning career in multiple leadership roles at the US Department of Veterans Affairs, one of the largest organizations in the United States. I use my leadership experiences and deep knowledge of how communication and connection influences our workplace to help individuals achieve their full leadership potential and organizations create healthy workplaces where diverse leaders can thrive. I became a believer in the power of human behavior after I emigrated to the United States at just six years-old and grew up seeing that there’s so much more to communication than just words. I’m passionate about helping others better understand themselves and those they work with. As the CEO and Founder of Towerscope, I provide leaders and their teams streamlined strategies and tailored growth tools to manage people-centric work challenges and develop high performing teams. I’ve spoken for thousands and am a regular contributor to the national publication, Psychology Today. In 2020, I co-authored the acclaimed book for emerging leaders needing to navigate complex systems, Millennials’ Guide to Workplace Politics: What No One Ever Told Your About Power and Influence. And with my continued commitment to advocacy and empowerment of women’s leadership and diverse leadership, my company received the 2021 Corporate Philanthropy Award from Triangle Business Journal, including serving on multiple advisory boards in alignment with these social justice values.I hold a PhD in clinical psychology, Master’s degree in counseling, and certificates in business essentials and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). I'm also certified in Lean Six Sigma (green belt); Transformational and Mentor Coaching; as an ADHD provider; and in multiple assessments including DiSC and Five Behaviors. If you are trying to manage a people-centric work challenge or change, want a high performing team, and need a trusted advisor who can equip you for both today’s challenges and those that lie ahead – let’s connect. Reach me here on LinkedIn or set a free consultation for us to talk on my firm’s website, www.BrancuAssociates.com.
