Provide oversight of field operations across 5 regions on the global VA TAP project, encompassing 62 permanent installations in 37 states, Washington DC, and several countries throughout Europe, Middle East, and Northern Africa. Provided management for the Dept of Labor Employment Workshop (DOLEW) at 30 military installations in Southeast Region (SC, GA, FL). Supervised team of approximately 30 trainers to ensure 100% of DOLEW and Career Exploration and Planning Track (CEPT) workshops were provided to transitioning service members and spouses from all branches of service. Monitored changes to regional workshop schedule and completed trainer assignments. Assisted other regions with emergency workshop coverage, as needed. Monitored travel costs to provide good stewardship of resources and calculate monthly travel estimates and actuals for travel workshops. Approved payroll and travel expense reports for training team. Led presentation interviews of trainer candidates, coordinated and provided new hire orientation and on-the-job training for Southeast training team. Conducted site visits and trainer observations to maintain consistency of delivery across the region and ensured all expectations are being met. Developed and provided professional development feedback and materials to trainers. Served as an available resource to trainers for any curriculum challenges or workshop questions. Oversaw implementation of new Team GBX programmatic onboarding to all new trainers worldwide. Created program onboarding webinar and guide for all new trainers working on Dept of Labor Employment Workshop (DOLEW) and Career Exploration and Planning Track (CEPT) contract. Maintained open communication with Regional Project Managers and new trainers to complete program onboarding efficiently and effectively to coincide with start dates and on-the-job training (OJT). Conducted live program onboarding webinars via Adobe Connect with new trainers worldwide. Created surveys to monitor effectiveness of onboarding process and measure knowledge versus mastery of core curriculum items, program expectations and workshop management. Disseminated surveys to all new trainers immediately after OJT and after 90 days on the program.

Conducted 3-day DoL Employment Workshops for transitioning US military personnel and spouses. Training included information on personal appraisal, skills assessment, career exploration, job search strategies, goal setting, personal branding, professional networking, resume writing, interview preparation and salary negotiation. Integrated a variety of activities and facilitation methods to reach participants with various learning needs. Led all participants through resume writing workshop by highlighting sections of the resume and providing time in class to create a working draft.

Provided 2-day Accessing Higher Education Workshop for transitioning US military personnel and spouses. Workshop topics included personal/career goals and how these goals are related to institution selection, institution and degree research, understanding the institution culture, the Joint Services Transcript and transferring military credits, accreditation, funding factors (GI Bill, Yellow Ribbon, federal aid, scholarships, etc), and understanding admissions requirements.

Facilitated PREVENT Course for the US Navy at numerous sites to include Charleston SC, Pensacola FL, Pearl Harbor HI, and Japan. Addressed topics to enhance professional and personal success: stress management, goal setting, responsible decision-making, conflict resolution, communication, etc.

Wrote a series of perspective blog posts regarding my experiences in Japan after the Great Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011. Posts were intended to educate students on real-life experiences related to world events.

Led Student Services Division and managed department budget. Planned orientation for new students and served on admissions committee. Advised students and organizations. Hired and trained Residence Life Staff.
