• Responsible for Pre and Post close underwrites of Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, and NON-QM loan packages completed full assessment and verification that loan package and documentation meets agency and investor guidelines.
• Completed Full and Limited reviews, FHA spot approval reviews, and Non-warrantable condo reviews.
• Re-Underwriting loan packages to verify eligibility with guidelines including credit review, income and asset calculations, Appraisal, Title, HOI, Purchase, Condo project reviews.
• Submitting rebuttals to investors to dispute conditions that are not accurate or necessary per guidelines
• Maintaining services levels and turn time expectations
• Entering clear informative conditions into system so that missing items can be obtained to satisfy requirements

• Underwriting Non-QM, DPA, Bond loans, Jumbo, and Government loan transactions
• Calculating complex income and asset scenarios
• Full collateral, title and property documentation review
• Typing up clear concise conditions and discussing with others when necessary
• Performing QC audits for other underwriters in the department

• In depth underwriting credit, a variety of income types, assets, and property documentation
• Underwriting Conventional, FHA, NON-QM Jumbo transactions
• Typing up clear conditions and working with sales and processing to collaborate on solutions and answer any questions
• Performing QC Audits pre close and post close
• Running and reviewing DU/LP and Fraud report findings conditioning as necessary
• Reviewing, clearing, reconditioning conditions as received in a timely manner

Wholesale Underwriter reviewing about 90 % Manufactured Home transactions

• Disclosing and redisclosing loans according to TRID/RESPA requirements
• Working directly with borrowers, sales team, and third parties to gather all required documents and information required to submit complete loan packages to underwriting.
• Requesting all verifications, title work, property inspections and borrower documentation from application through post-closing.
• Update various systems with progress milestones and other loan information
• Working with title, borrowers, lock desk, and closers to lock loans, prepare closing loan documents, and document files to complete closings in an expedient manner.
• Preparing closing packages in compliance with guidelines
