With more than a decade of professional experience, I have spent my career balancing my time in higher education administrative support at Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center Office of Faculty Affairs while simultaneously serving as a special events, marketing, and communications leader with the Junior League of El Paso, Inc. Through these experiences, I have led teams in the development of a broad range of event and marketing initiatives, from planning and promoting faculty events at Texas Tech to campaigns promoting community education and membership with the Junior League. In addition, I have spearheaded my own graphic design, affiliate marketing, and social media influencing brand where I have executed digital strategies across platforms to support and sustain brand visibility and loyalty.I have learned the frameworks of strategically planning virtual events from development to execution, organizing run of show details, and communicating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders on the status of event schedules and timelines. I am highly familiar with multiple virtual meeting/event software and keep up to date on current trends to build an understanding of what works for different types of events. As a quick learner with technology, I can rapidly adapt and apply my knowledge and skillset to new software or applications. I am skilled in managing brand consistency and voice across multiple platforms and possess the ability to evaluate performance metrics accurately to influence informed decisions for future projects. I possess the ability to consistently visualize the entire scope of a project and work cross-functionally while leading through influence, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead experienced teams and add instrumental value to any business.
