Graduate of Murdoch University in Sustainable Development and Marine Biology with eight years experience in nature conservation and environmental management. Currently working as an environmental consultant in conservation planning and environmental management system development.My passion is for the ocean, marine life and Australia’s spectacular coastal areas. My spare time is full with swimming, snorkelling and diving in oceans around Australia and Overseas, and investigating the wonders of coastal ecology. I have spent many days on boats, fishing, exploring and discovering an array of unique marine and coastal ecosystems. My passion flows into my work and I use the skills I have attained from my life experiences as well as my professional career to study and conserve the marine and coastal environment.My strong interpersonal skills and well developed oral and written communication abilities have helped me greatly in life and my career. Working with indigenous people for the last five years in the areas of conservation and land use, as well as the protection of cultural heritage areas, has given me an appreciation and understanding of indigenous culture and the importance of engaging with their communities. I am energetic and enthusiastic about life and I apply the same enthusiasm to my work. My aim is to be involved with a dedicated, passionate team and liaise with stakeholders to establish best practice in the area of marine and coastal research and conservation.
