Responsible for the management of 20+ staff members engaged in a wide variety of roles- from scheduling, front desk services, and multiple imaging modalities. Actively engaging in various committees and groups within the healthcare organization designed to motivate, improve, and facilitate processes in the continued pursuit of providing optimum patient care. Knowledgeable in the acquisition of capital equipment and contract negotiations. Knowledgeable about various types and brands of medical imaging equipment. Particularly knowledgeable in the use and function of diagnostic sonography systems. Mentors and assists new team leads within the organization to promote their success and that of the facility. Participates in community events providing education of the medical imaging services we provide along with other patient centered services. Stays up to date on the changing regulations affecting the imaging industry and implements programs to aid providers in meeting the requirements. Oversees the PACS system and aids IT in the updates of software or other technology pertaining to PACs or imaging systems.
