With over nine years of experience in the education sector, I am passionate about leading and empowering others to professional grow while collaborating to meet goals and objectives . As the Assistant Principal in public education, I oversee the implementation of instruction, staff evaluation, and change management of the school, as well as support the principal in implementing the school vision and goals. I also leverage my project management skills, acquired through a Google Project Management Certificate and a Master of Education in Educational Administration, to coordinate and execute various school improvement initiatives, such as professional development, student assessments, and community engagement. Additionally, I have a strong background in teaching, having served as a lead teacher and a teacher at Nottoway for seven years, where I developed and delivered engaging and differentiated lessons, mentored and coached new teachers, and set and monitored student learning objectives. Through my current and past roles, I have demonstrated my core competencies of goal setting, mentoring, and communication, as well as my commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students and staff.
