I’m a consultative, passionate and driven business leader with more than 20 years of senior management experience across the FMCG and Food sectors.As Managing Director at the Dollar Sweets Company for the past 12 years, I’ve led the significant growth, innovation and success of the business in a challenging and highly competitive industry.During that time I’ve drawn upon – and enhanced – my extensive food industry knowledge and expertise, spanning manufacturing, technology and sourcing, food safety, key account planning and supply chain management.Ambitious and highly motivated, I believe that passion and commitment are vital ingredients to success – always going the extra mile, and doing whatever it takes to get the job done. I’m also a firm believer in teamwork and consultation. I really enjoy working with my team, and gain enormous satisfaction from seeing them develop and succeed. While I understand that decisions ultimately need to be made, I’ve found that listening well and sharing ideas makes work more engaging for everyone, and typically leads to the very best outcomes. Inspired by consumer research, global trends and raw innovation, I find that identifying and developing growth opportunities really motivates me, and team, to think ‘outside of the box’ and forge exciting new paths.Having held roles that encompass functions as diverse as business strategy and planning, NPD, retail, quality management, marketing and advertising, I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far, and I’m looking forward to the next big challenge that awaits Dollar Sweets. Outside work, I love spending time with my beautiful family and friends, this time is really important to me and I cherish every moment. I also have a passion for health and fitness, hitting the running track on a regular basis. Keeping fit and healthy is critical for me to stay focused and energized.
