Passionate and sincere mental health professional with a decade of experience working with a variety of populations including those living with mental health disorders and intellectual disabilities, those who have suffered brain injuries, refugees and asylum seekers, health care professionals, and the perinatal population. I have worked in a plethora of different settings including home and community-based services, judicial advocacy, refugee resettlement, and private practice. Culturally competent in working within the international community. I am CBT, TF-CBT, ACT and EMDR-trained, to name a few. I'm passionate about helping those I serve overcome their trauma and reclaim their lives. I recently began incorporating animal-assisted therapy into my practice with my Cavachon, Cora.
