Managed and assured BP's financials for Upstream assets in the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil. Assurance covering end-to-end reporting such as: forecast working capital and monitor cash flows; control review of reserves & resources, including SMOG assurance; corporate due diligence; scrutinize monthly joint-interest bills to ensure cash flow integrity; assist and coordinate financial impacts for acquiring and divesting assets. Regional liaison for accounting policy (vetting, interpreting and collaborating) for all areas of Upstream activity: major project sanctioning, contract negotiations, leases (and the upcoming changes to IFRS 16), and other oil & gas accounting events. I worked with the materials management team to address inventory optimization.Worked with internal & external auditors to address processes and procedures. Over the years, I built a collaborative environment as a liaison with financial outsource service providers to properly present and document financial activities. Utilized various IT tools such as: SAP and WR5, Outlook Soft-IPMS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote.

I overlooked exploration spend from budgeting to actuals, with engagement from VP and managers. Monitored local due diligence process for financial integrity, and resource reporting.
