Provides high quality, trauma-informed therapeuticservices and care coordination to a diverse population of at-risk youth or youngadults experiencing mental health symptoms, and their families. Thesedevelopmentally appropriate, individualized services occur in residential andcommunity locations including homes, schools, program offices, psychiatricemergency settings, clinics, crisis residential programs, and/or shelters.

Supports tenant organizing and eviction mitigation projects at BASTA Austin, a non-profit project dedicated to helping Austin renters work with their neighbors to improve conditions in their homes and communities.

Research and website support for the Texas Behavioral Health and Justice Technical Assistance Program, a state-level initiative for Texas behavioral health and justice systems to reduce and prevent justice involvement for people with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Provide case management and support to legal clients (and their families) who are experiencing turmoil as a result of family and/or criminal legal matters.• Performs psychosocial and/or needs assessments and develop client service plans.• Provides short or long-term case management and service coordination, utilizing communityresources including, but not limited to, medical resources, local, state and federal agencies,community-based agencies and other resources• Provides brief counseling and crisis intervention to individuals and/or their families to resolvecrisis, prevent future crisis, and promote progress toward individualized service plan goals andoutcomes

· Plans and coordinates services for at-risk youth who have disabilities or are economically disadvantaged.· Participates in recruiting and reviewing referrals for eligibility. Can assist in completing intake and orientation for individuals accepted for services. Completes WIOA (Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act) application, enrollment, goal forms and eligibility paperwork.· Assists individuals in establishing goals, expressing preferences, and resolving problems as well as linking youth to resources in the community, moving towards meeting contract measures, common measures and outcomes.· Serves as liaison with representatives from County staff, other service providers, and families. Reports individual progress through ISS updates, case notes, telephone contacts, and meetings.· Connects youth to workshops, work experience, educational and employment activities.· Assists individuals with wraparound service referrals related to benefits, healthcare, housing, and childcare needs, and other supportive services including applying for new benefits or services.· Advocates for individuals and reports suspected violations of rights or abuse.· Responsible for supervision of Mission Services staff members
