IngersollI believe education and training hold the greatest power in lifting individuals, and that social enterprises play a crucial role in harnessing this power for good. As a recipient of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award and the Roseville College Geography award (2018), I have actively engaged in my passion for social development. This commitment to community has continued throughout my executive role in the Random Acts of Kindness society, collaborating with local businesses as well as not-for-profits such as Mission Australia. In developing the heightened hour program and training leaders during my role on the Evangelical Unions’ E-team (2020), I have been able to advance my leadership and problem-solving skills, whilst also encouraging student engagement. Consistent with my high view of education, I have sought to empower and educate high school students in my role as a connect and study skill presenter at Elevate Education. I have also sought to aid children in the development of their literacy skills as an Illustrator for MultiLit. My hope is to continue to pursue opportunities that lift others throughout my time at the University of Sydney, and into my career as a marketer and data analyst.
