I am a network engineer and hold an AS in Computer Network Engineering. My most recommended and managed gear is Mikrotik though there is some Cisco and the occasional Juniper/Foundry/Force10/Dell switching gear that comes along. I am involved in VOIP as well and use Asterisk as my primary voice server with Polycom and Cisco phones as clients. Server virtualization is also among the things I do using the Proxmox virtualization platform.I am heavily into theatre as well and have a small rental company that has an all inclusive attitude of we haul it out, set it up, run the show if required, and take it all back. The primary focus is lighting and sound gear and to eventually include staging and truss systems.Specialties: wireless networks, wireless design and maintenance, subnetting, routing, Point-to-Point WAN technologies, WAN diagnostics, BGP filtering, network debugging through packet inspection and separately, theatrical technical design and operation.

Esports Network ArchitectQuakecon Organization Jul 2019 - PresentQuakecon is North Americas largest LAN event where people can bring their own computers to celebrate the art of gaming. Quakecon is put together and run in the majority by volunteers like me, we setup everything that isn't already part of the building and tear it all down after the event even watching for problems that may arise in the middle of things. We are the people on main stage during tournament computer change outs as well as those that you ask your computer support questions to at BYOC. Some of the volunteers aren't even seen during the event at all because of what our positions involve. If you haven't had a chance to come to Quakecon and volunteer really are missing out, this is the one event every year that we look forward to over SIX MONTHS in advance. The event has a life of its own and everyone can feel it when they show up on Monday morning (yes Monday, three full days before the event starts) and begin to run/tape cables, test circuits, setup switches and prepare security for the massive (12,000) amount of people that are about to come through the doors.
