Miranda is a bold leader in producing innovative and boundary-pushing performances in Los Angeles, New York, and below the stunning red cliffs of Southern Utah. By working in direct partnership with independent artists, Miranda works at the experimental edge of contemporary culture, with a specialization in dance and theater. Through key partnerships with exceptional arts centers and theaters across the country, Miranda has contributed greatly to the visibility of Los Angeles-based artists nationally and internationally. As a producer and curator, she defined a new platform for live performance in 2013 with the creation of the annual Los Angeles Exchange [LAX] Festival, which heavily features Los Angeles artists alongside national and international projects of note.Miranda is an experienced arts producer and cultural strategist with an MFA in Creative Producing & Management from California Institute of the Arts, and additional certificates from Wesleyan University's Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance and the National Arts Strategies' Executive Program in Arts & Culture Strategy. She recently earned an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School as is a faculty member of the School of Dance at CalArts.
