Miranda holds her BBA in Advertising and Public Relations from Evangel University and has been in a recruiting capacity for over 9 years. She started her career at an Executive Search Firm, Parker and Lynch (now LHH), an Adecco subsidiary. After receiving success, Miranda was offered an opportunity to move internationally to Melbourne, Australia to assist in launching a new division of the business known as Spring Professional Recruitment. This was crucial to giving a worldview mentality to her recruiting skillset. Miranda moved back to Texas for personal reasons, and after 10 more months in Agency decided to take on a new challenge in corporate recruiting with a Fortune 500 company known as Gartner. Here she was able to understand corporate services recruiting including Sales, IT, Accounting, Legal, and Finance. During Covid, the economy shifted, and she landed at Milestone Home Services, a 100-million-dollar residential services company. Milestone had never hired individuals with recruiting exposure. Because of this, she was brought on as the Recruiting Director to establish talent acquisition internal processes, training, and develop a recruiting team. This included talking scripts, 6 step interview process, KPI’s and real-time reporting. Her success was assisting in tripling the technician hire headcount in one year. While working for Milestone, she oversaw the recruiting efforts across roofing, electric, HVAC, plumbing, restoration, and all office positions. Currently, she is the Director of Talent Acquisitions for Friendly Group, a PE-backed Home Services Business that is growing due to acquisitions. She is also the founder of Decorum Recruiting. Decorum means, “In good standing.” Agency recruiters can have a poor reputation and through Decorum, she wants to disqualify this through a quality client and candidate experience.
