After a long executive and non-executive career, I am currently a director of Austlii Foundation Limited-the premier publisher of free legal information in Australia , which is the leading resource for legal practitioners, government and universities. I regularly chair Review Hearings for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons' surgical training program. I have also chaired Conduct Committee Hearings, after being a member of what was formerly the Appeal Committee.I have recently been appointed to the Council of the Friends of the Royal Botanical Gardens.Currently, I am secretary of Icicles Ski Club, a role I have fulfilled in the past. These two positions allow me to combine my passions with my experience and expertise.I was previously the CEO of Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee until February 2018, with more than 30 years’ experience advising the legal profession, and advocating on its behalf, around professional indemnity schemes, risk management and policy and legislation. I have strong relationships with law firms and bodies, legal societies and insurers in Australia and overseas. I now provide consultancy services to leaders in the profession. I am a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, was previously a director of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority and a trustee of the MCG. I have been a member of the executive committee of the Trinity College Foundation, University of Melbourne and was a member of the Cross Country Skiing Fundraising Committee for Ski and Snowboard Australia (now Snow Australia)
