I was approached by my programme convener to assister her in the completion of her research. We looked further into how children's voices are important in residential development. We worked with a local nursery with children living in nearby estate housing to understand their connection to their homes and area. In my position, I provided administrative support and assisted during the nursery visits. I then transcribed over five hours of video recordings of our time with the children. To present the research, we hosted an exhibit at the nursery with local educators, parents, children, developers, and councillors.

As a patient registrar at Summit Therapy & Health Services, I was the first contact as patients walk through the door to receive their physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, massage therapy, genetic counseling, or acupuncture services. I obtained the patient's information, communicated with the respective therapist, and assisted patients with their services as needed. On the Palouse, we served a diverse community of patients who have a variety of different reasons for seeking care.

Before entering the health care field or deciding to further my professional education, I chose to au pair in Munich, Germany. Throughout my time as an au pair, I have gained the skills of adapting to a new environment and culture, improving language skills, organizing and implementing schedules regarding different needs (very important when taking care of three young children), and growing a better understanding of development of children (e.g. fundamental learning, coping, hygiene).

Responsibilities include being a first-hand advisor, presenting at campus events, recruiting and informing new students, updating all social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), reviewing and deciding eligibility for scholarships, performing operational duties, and acting as a welcoming committee for international students attending Missouri State from countries around the world.

Out of 700+ applicants, I was one of the 11 students picked to intern at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. While interning with their Foundation, I collaborated in non-profit event planning, created an internship program highlight video, innovated the Employee Financial Wellness Handbook, shadowed Family Center maternity classes, and completed any other various tasks asked of me. The Saint Alphonsus Foundation raises nearly $7 million annually, with their biggest event, The Festival of Trees, bringing in over $600,000 last year. As the Foundation Intern, I volunteered at the annual Children's Capitol Classic, assisted in the planning of The Festival of Trees Kick-off Party, and was active in planning of the early stages of the 2018 Festival of Trees event.

As a dietary aid, I helped serve proper and nutritious meals to residents, advocated for health promotion and health guidelines, aided residents in meeting their needs, and encouraged residents to participate in wellness programs.
