My professional career began in 2018, when I embarked for the first time a year after finishing my degree in Nautical and Maritime Transport. At that time, I discovered how lucky I was to be part of the profession despite having had a bad previous experience, which taught me things that are not usually given importance and other types of values such as tolerance and adaptability, respect and commitment, honesty and humility, resilience, sacrifice and self-control.I decided to continue acquiring knowledge by taking the University Master's Degree in Nautical and Maritime Transport Management (Logistics) in order to, later on, continue my professional career and finish the year as a student necessary to achieve another great professional goal: the Second Officer of the Merchant Navy Pilot card. Thanks to my crewmates, as captains, first, second and third officers, who dedicated part of their time to instructing me, I was able to acquire a series of knowledge and techniques such as sustained attention to carry out multiple functions on board, such as watchkeeping, safety and maneuvering, naviogational track, as well as the maintenance and familiarization of firefighting and life-saving appliances.I also feel comfortable working as part of a team in a friendly atmosphere, where I feel valued for what I can bring to the workplace, so I will always be fully involved in everything I do, whether I like it or not (as I believe that in all jobs, it is necessary to occasionally take on roles that may not always be to our liking) as the results will always be positive, both for my workmates, for the company and for me.I am passionate about challenges that require more effort, as they help me to grow as a professional and, especially, as a professional and, above all, as a human being.
